Autumn at the Ranney-Crawford
House
Romantic Vermont
Lodging
Fall
is a wonderful time to visit the Ranney-Crawford House. Sugar
maples are aglow with brilliant hues of red and gold, the weather
is crisp and the spicy aroma of mulled cider fills the air. It's
a great time to hike, bike or drive along the scenic roads and
trails surrounding our home. The Westminster West Road is said
to be one of Vermont's most beautiful roads, and an excellent
starting point for touring Vermont's foliage.
"What
a great setting, the perfect B n B for a fall foliage weedend!"
H.N., Lake Tahoe, Nevada
Autumn
is Fall festival month, with every town having its own activities.
There are concerts, craft shows, Morris dancing, harvest festivals
and more. During this time, the Putney School holds its traditional
Renaissance Fair, featuring Medieval and Renaissance costumes,
music and food. Autumn is the perfect time for a romantic Vermont
getaway. |

"We
didn't have to travel far to find the perfect fall foliage vacation,
Putney - only three hours away. Who would have thought!"

This

and Saturday following Thanksgiving. Follow the signs along the
Westminster West Road to visit the working studios of Putney
and Westminster West artisans. |
"We
loved our elegant room, great breakfasts and late night talks
by the fireplace. Thank you for the sight-seeing advice and map
of the Putney-Brattleboro area. Next time we will definitely
bring our bikes." R.R., Santa Barbara, California |
