Winter is a wonderful time of the year to visit the Ranney-Crawford House in beautiful Putney ,Vermont. We have excellent cross-country skiing nearby, both on groomed and back-country trails. Grafton Ponds, a short drive from us, offers excellent trails and facilities, including rental skis and snow shoes. Also, there are numerous local trails, and if you like, you could practice your telemarking technique on the meadows that surround our property. So for wonderful winter X-skiing, snow shoeing and winter fun, you will enjoy your Vermont getaway at the Ranney-Crawford House BnB.

If you would rather down-hill ski, we're just a short drive away from some of southern Vermonts best ski resorts such as Mount Snow, Okemo and Stratton Mountain . And when you're finished skiing, you can relax in front of a warm fire, while listening to music and good conversation in our comfortable living room.
